Ok, let's get one thing straight here.  I am not one of these full of 'cow-ality' sorts that needs to be mamby-pambied with.  Somebody has to get the work done around here, and that somebody is me.  Goodness gracious, if we all acted like some of these yay-whos, nothing would get done.  It seems like Shauna's prancing off to these beauty competitions every time I turn around.  Hissy spends most of her day rediscovering what she rediscovered yesterday.  Trixie is constantly striking a pose and chasing the camera.  And Layla is either busy drinking whey, crying that the whey tank is empty, or chasing the Jerseys around.  Pathetic!  We are cows; our job is to make milk.  That's exactly what I aim to do.  I mind my own business and make my milk.

Well, now that we have that settled, the Bachmans wanted me to tell you about the Name the Calf contest.  I am expecting a new baby calf in March and the Bachmans want your help in naming it.  I have a few ground rules you need to keep in mind though.  First, no names longer than seven letters.  I mean seriously people, this is a baby cow....no long, fancy mumbo jumbo.  Secondly, I want the name to start with the letter "R" so it can always remember me.  I don't know if it is a boy or a girl because I just don't see the need to mess around with all this fancy-shmancy technology these days.
